1. Be a current senior in high school who plans to enroll full-time for the entire upcoming academic year in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States. You must reside in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
2. Show ambition and self-motivation to be a positive influence at work, in the community, and in school.
3. Be prepared to grant permission for their identities, plans, and accomplishments to be made public, as well as for photos to be used in program materials and promotions.

Axa Scholarship Type
The Axa Scholarship is of two types;
1. Axa Achievement Community Scholarship: This type of Axa scholarship recognizes students who have shown a strong dedication to community service and who have started initiatives that have improved their communities are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
2. Axa Achievement Scholarship in Collaboration with U.S. News & World Report: This type of Axa scholarship award students who, in the face of hardship, have demonstrated extraordinary ambition and tenacity in pursuing their objectives.
1. AXA Achievement Community Scholarship: Up to 375 scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded.
2. AXA Achievement Scholarship in Association with U.S. News & World Report: Up to 27 scholarships of $25,000 each will be awarded.
