Kanoski Bresney Scholarship 2024

Every year, hundreds of thousands of accidents and injuries occur in the US as a result of distracted driving, which includes texting and using other cell phones. Teens and young adults who drive are particularly affected by this issue, and they also have a higher chance of being involved in an accident involving distracted driving. In this instance, Kanoski Bresney wishes to assist students who contribute to the effort to combat distracted driving. Students in the United States pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies are eligible to apply for five $1,000 scholarships through the Kansoki Bresney Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship program.

Scholarship Deadline: 29th May, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

1. At least the Fall 2024 semester will pass while you are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a recognized college or university in the United States.

2. You are a senior in high school, and in the fall of 2024, you will begin your college or university studies.

3. You are a United States citizen.

4. You have a current overall GPA of at least 3.0.

Scholarship Award

Selected applicants will receive $1,000.00 to fund their education.

How To Apply

Write a 1,000-word essay on the topic “How has distracted driving affected your life? What ideas do you have to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving and prevent this behavior among young drivers?”

Application Rule

Your essay should be saved as a doc, docx, or pdf file with your first and last name included. It should also be double-spaced, have a 12-point font, and one-inch margins. In addition to your essay, you are required to submit a copy of your most recent transcript of grades, your contact details (name, phone number, address, and email address), and a passport taken by a professional photographer.
